Saturday Sessions at Moonface

* The Saturday Sessions *
* Are Currently Paused *

Dates

No dates are currently planned.

Please Note: Moonface doesn’t open until 2pm so if you show up early you’ll be standing out in the cold/sun/rain!

(Remember, the monthly acoustic night too! 1st Thursday of the month, 7-9pm)

Where?

Moonface Brewery and Tap, 13 Moira Street, Loughborough, LE11 1AU [google maps]

What’s It All About?

We’ve noticed that there aren’t really any Celtic/Irish tradition sessions in the local area. Most folk clubs and singarounds tend to be blues, pop, rock or English folk-based.

And so we decided to get people together who appreciate the unique Celtic sound, who ‘speak the language’ of Celtic music (or are keen to learn!). And Moonface is the perfect venue because of their deep appreciation of music in general, and especially acoustic and folk music.

Sessions are casual, friendly and supportive. There are no expectations and no pressure. Join in when you feel comfortable, sit out when you don’t! And we can all learn together, too.

What Now?

There’s no need to book, or notify us if you’re coming along… simply show up to the pub at 2pm on the appropriate Saturday. If you’re nervous or have any questions, please get in touch (email at the bottom of the page, or call 07497 846 098)

Parking

There are paid car-parks nearby (Beehive Lane is probably nearest) and there’s time-restricted parking on the street outside Moonface.  However, if you go round the corner to Trinity Street there are several streets with unrestricted parking around there. Please check the signs to be sure.
